Where Are We Going?

We now find ourselves on the fringe of the information age; once again. Some have coined the phrase BIG DATA to try to conceptualize the enormous amounts of information traveling through our universe. Currently, we are creating as well as capturing data from an array of sources; Medical, Financial, Business, Mathematical, Astronomical, Sub-Atomic, Personal, etc.

The ways in which we store and share this data are constantly improving as well. Scientists have devised Database Management Systems to give structure and order to this vast array of data; thereby enabling men and women the ability to quickly retrieve information relative to their particular disciplines or vocations.

While database technologies are making major advances, the internet is also improving. The internet, initially designed to transport files from site to site, has now become a better means of communications.

"The internet is now a complex communication system, and has become a critical element of the infrastructure of society."
"It was not constrained by a plethora of standards and regulations. Therefore, it evolved to what, where it is today"
Prof. Dan C. Marinescu, Cloud Computing: Theory and Practice

These improvements are propelling the rapid realization of Cloud Technology; Public, Private and Hybrid. The deep comprehension of Dynamic Infrastructure Technology as well as business and financial considerations will drastically affect the choices of subsequent operations of technical alternatives in our world. We must be able to translate and communicate high level business and technical requirements into practical infrastructure solutions.

The ability to contrive and create a better world is readily upon us. "Global Order can arise from local interactions"; Alan Turing
Thus, we must focus and remain vigilant and steadfast in our realization of Global Wholeness, as well as Universal Union.
